A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I'm Carla, a food and drink photographer passionate about capturing the artistry of food, the people behind it, and the spaces that bring it to life. I live in beautiful East Sussex with my family and our golden retriever, Klaus—my trusty sidekick. Just 55 minutes from London, I have a lovely home studio where I shoot, but you'll often find me traveling across the UK (and sometimes beyond) capturing incredible food and hospitality stories.
With experience working for renowned chefs like Clare Smyth, Endo Kazutoshi, Anna Haugh, Sabrina Gidda, Angelo Sato and Tom Sellers, as well as brands such as Planet Organic and Pasta Evangelists, my work has been featured in advertising, editorial, and social campaigns. I also spent 3 years as the In-House Photographer for Gordon Ramsay Group.
I’m drawn to form, shape, and the colors of the harvest, finding beauty in simplicity and styling. I love how chefs transform ingredients into plated works of art, and I’m happiest in kitchens—immersed in the energy, passion, and creativity that fuel the culinary world.
